Earthquake Monitor 2.8.3

Browse earthquakes in the past 24 hours or past 30 days in map mode or data feed mode. Use the slider to quickly filter earthquakes by magnitude.

Receive push notifications for earthquakes globally or at up to four custom specific locations. For each location you choose to monitor, you set the cutoff magnitude and radius. These earthquake notifications include a built-in epicenter map on iOS and watchOS. Tap a notification in the iOS Notification Center to view the detailed information for that earthquake.

Establish a custom location in feed mode to identify the closest recent earthquakes to that location and to display distances for all earthquakes in relation to the custom location.

Tap on an earthquake to view more details, such as depth and "Felt By" numbers.

Exploring an individual earthquake also provides options to:

1. Visit the USGS event webpage.
2. Show cities near the epicenter with their populations.

Additional features include:

• A Today View Widget for quick access to earthquakes in the past hour. Select an earthquake from this table to access its detailed page in the app.
• A watchOS app for viewing earthquakes from the past hour, featuring zoomable maps, "Felt By" numbers, and depths.
• Utilize 3D touch on the app icon to conveniently navigate without entering the main app menu.

Explore recent earthquake news within a dedicated section: swiftly locate news from over 1,600 cited sources displayed on a map or in a table view organized by state alphabetically. Customize your state feed using the state toggles.
